My Happy Horses: Part 6

Equine MediRecord in partnership with Arabian Racehorse is proudly supporting the Arabian Racing Organisation participants and their horses during the suspension of UK Arabian racing.

Epsom based amateur jockey Nath McCann sent in these pictures of him riding Evermore Racing’s Kayack. Evermore Racing is run by Jen Harris with McCann as her assistant, they are based in Headley near Epsom.

Kayack (6yo gelding x Penny Black) is one of four horses Evermore Racing have in training, the others are Kaynoo (6yo gelding x Moogali), Kaymeleon (5yo mare x Moogali) and Kaydence (4yo filly x Penny Black) all by Harris’s stallion Kayeed (Kheiralla x Joli).

Kayeed won over 1m5f for Harris and is the sire of Kayote, winner of the 2017 Rotana Hotels and Resorts Premier Handicap, the longest race at Dubai International Arabian Races. Kayack’s dam Penny Black (Chndaka x Pevunja) was a winner over 6f and has also produced Tiger Lily, a dual winner from 1m1f -1m2f and placed six times from only 12 starts.
