My Happy Horses: Part 9

Equine MediRecord in partnership with Arabian Racehorse is proudly supporting the Arabian Racing Organisation participants and their horses during the suspension of UK Arabian racing.

Pictured here is Delyth Thomas’s Kiraa (left) with her stablemate and field companion ‘George’, otherwise known as Noble Athlete (right). Bred in France, she foaled Kayclaire (by Dahess) in 2011 before she began her own racing career at Taunton in 2012. From 37 starts she has won 6 races, including when beating her own daughter at Hereford in 2015. Her most recent win was at Brighton on May 28th 2019.

Becca Thomas writes: “When Kiraa’s not racing she has taken a liking to jumping, which we started last year and shows the versatility of the Arabian horse. She has since competed in Showjumping with a win and a second place on her first attempt and had a go at cross country too.

“Due to the ongoing situation she is enjoying some time off out in the field with her best friend ‘George’, on the yard they known as George and Mildred. We look forward to hopefully a bit more racing and continuing to learn some more new skills in 2020!!”
